Dream Seeds is being created by Macpherson Smith Rural Foundation Alumni in response to an identified need. Research and personal experience indicate that some young rural Victorians face barriers to education, aspiration and participation.

A fun, interactive workshop, designed and presented by MSRF alumni, will be run in Year 6 classes. The workshop aims to show young people that they have the capacity to be the leaders of their own lives, whatever their background. Original activities and games will aim to build the knowledge and skills that they need to create a vision and practical pathways to positive futures. There will be a website created for students to access after the session with resources, links and great stories.

Crowd funding will provide resources to get the program off the ground and a pilot conducted in late 2016.
